In today’s marketplace 99% of the tea is flavored, like ginger peach…and brewed using a tea bag, compromising taste for the sake of convenience. We specialize in loose teas of character with inherent flavor…these teas represent the other 1%.  Full leaf teas are the parallel to impeccably fresh coffee…similar because both are the only way you can experience peak flavor.

However buying full leaf tea is different from buying coffee because while coffee is best purchased weekly, tea is best bought using a seasonal, stock up approach. Here are 3 reasons to buy tea in larger quantities… 

1. Single Crop… most tea is produced from a single crop. The new crop Super Fancy Formosa Oolong that you buy this week will be the very same tea that you will purchase from us in the winter months ahead.

2. Better Price… the more full leaf tea you buy, the better the price. A pound of tea makes somewhere between 200-240 cups using a 6 oz. cup.

3. Storage is Simple… all you have to do to properly “look after” your tea is store it away from light and heat in an airtight container.
