Last week we
had Giovanni Pasquero here for a 3BOTTLES wine club party. The wines
were great, it was super cool to hear about how he and his brother and
father have steadily moved their Barbaresco estate toward natural,
traditional agriculture. Most importantly the wines are awesome. As
cooler (and darker) evenings descend on Chapel Hill, it seem time to
drink a Nebbiolo or two, and I wanted to taste Giovanni’s wine again
anyway... so in case you ever wanted to follow the wandering thought
process that leads to our weekend wine, there it is (or was?).
